BI Systems Analyst - Minnesota Wild (St. Paul, MN)

The Minnesota Wild Marketing Intelligence Department is a progressive and innovative team that uses data driven insights to provide information for leaders of the organization to remain in line with the Wild’s mission statement of creating a greater State of Hockey.

The ideal BI Systems Analyst we be someone with a deep understating of data and the integration of data between different business systems. He or she will be supporting various stakeholders of the organization and will need to clearly and effectively communicate in a group while leading the organization in the areas of data management and software systems and integrations.   

Summary:

The BI Systems Analyst will contribute to the strategic development and execution of CRM campaign management, oversee the data strategy and the mapping of data integrations, with the goal of ensuring the reliability, integrity, and quality of data for the Minnesota Wild. The person in this role will manage the existing data environment, which includes guiding data strategy, expanding the data warehouse to include new sources, and managing data vendors. They will also deep-dive into data quality issues that arise and will work to consistently provide clean and de-duplicated customer records for use in multiple systems and departments throughout the organization

This position reports to the Senior Business Analyst of Marketing Intelligence, and will work closely with other analytics team members, IT team members, and leaders across the business

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as administrator for Microsoft Dynamics CRM environment and work with end users to answer workflow and system-related questions regarding customers, prospects, and best practices.
  • Work directly with CRM Vendor to coordinate the implementation of new CRM functionality, reports and dashboards for the sales and service teams.
  • Provide day-to-day support for CRM users across the organization.
  • Develop campaigns using historical customer data from prior sales, marketing data and other data sources provided.
  • Manage data environment and ensure data reliability, integrity, and quality in support of a wide range of business initiatives: fan engagement, fan experience, marketing, sales, stadium operations, etc.
  • Normalize data flows for better integration across multiple business systems, in direction with the Wild’s data management vendors
  • Review existing data streams to identify inefficiencies and enact solutions that automate and improve
  • Develop audits that monitor data feeds, with the goal of detecting, repairing, and preventing duplicates, and other inconsistencies.
  • Coordinate with Wild stakeholders to handle matters of data governance, privacy, and security, and to help resolve any systems issues that arise.
  • Create and maintain specific reporting within the Wild’s Tableau online using Tableau Desktop
  • Work closely with business analysts to provide data for analysis and reporting needs
  • Work individually on ad-hoc analysis and BI reporting for organization stakeholders

 

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a focus in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering preferred

Knowledge & Experience

  • Demonstrated technical aptitude, with high proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and 3+ years of experience with relational databases
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with a  data warehouse
  • Strong command of Microsoft SQL Server, with advanced knowledge of SQL including complex stored procedures, common table expressions, analytic functions, query optimization, and indexing.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, IBM Marketing Cloud, Ticketmaster Archtics and experience working with data management vendors such as KORE, SSB and Ticketmaster, a plus
  • Experience creating and maintaining specific reporting using Tableau Desktop, a plus
  • Experience with Adobe SiteCatalyst and Google Analytics, a plus
  • Experience within the sports/entertainment industry a plus

POSITION SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION
Casual Labor – Conversion Crew staff are responsible for assisting full-time and temporary staff with the set-up and tear-down tasks in the Xcel Energy Center, Roy Wilkins Auditorium and Saint Paul RiverCentre. The starting hourly rate is $12.75 an hour.

• Set-up and tear down seating risers, dasher boards, rink glass, seating platforms and basketball court.

This position serves as the first point of contact for anyone entering 317 On Rice Park, home of the Minnesota Wild Hockey Club, during non-business hours.  The position works weekend evenings and provides coverage on holidays and scheduled vacations. Employees in this position are to ensure the personal safety of those working in and attending events at “317 On Rice Park” and to provide protection for the building and property.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Greet and assist all visitors in 317 On Rice Park, including guests attending events, as well as clients, vendors, visitors, and other business partners 
  • Validate employees entering 317 On Rice Park
  • Perform periodic checks and inspections of 317 On Rice Park
  • Ensure appropriate security and safety policies are maintained during functions held at 317 On Rice Park
  • Coordinate and communicate security issues with RiverCentre security office
  • When requested, escort staff  to vehicles in ramps 
  • Report any unusual situations or events to Senior Facility Manager
  • Ability to enforce policies in a polite and tactful manner, but able to be direct when necessary
  • Perform general administrative duties as requested
  • Maintain a professional, neat and orderly work space and lobby area

Retail Sales Associates, Xcel Energy Center Hockey Lodge - Minnesota Wild (St. Paul, MN)

The Hockey Lodge is currently seeking part-time Retail Sales Associates for our Xcel Energy Center location. The Hockey Lodge retail stores are part of the Minnesota Sports and Entertainment (MSE) family of businesses which include Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL), Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL) and St. Paul Arena Company (SPAC) operating Xcel Energy Center, St. Paul RiverCentre and the Legendary Roy Wilkins Auditorium.

These positions are excellent opportunities for those seeking professional part-time retail positions within in a fast-paced, service-oriented retail environment. The Retail Sales Associate position is instrumental in supporting all aspects of retail store operations including specific store duties and projects including but not limited to cashiering, stock, size and straighten merchandise as well as offering superior customer service. Candidates should be reliable, flexible, passionate and dedicated to providing exceptional levels of service. The starting hourly wage is $9.75. 

Preferred availability: game nights, days, and weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Professionally greet and assist customers with the selection of retail merchandise and apparel selections, questions and sales of Wild merchandise in a high-volume, service-oriented retail environment
• Accurate and timely processing of all sales transactions on register or point-of-sale terminal including sales, exchanges and returns
• Assist in stocking merchandise on sales floor, refreshing inventory on shelves, assisting with displays or promotions, and special orders
• Professionally represent and promote Minnesota Wild Brand to all customers, fans and guests
• Help and assist in maintaining a professional store and sales floor appearance ensuring merchandise is properly displayed on floor
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and key events (a minimum of 75% of Wild Hockey games and 50% of non-Wild Hockey events)
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Retail Warehouse Associate - Xcel Energy Center - Minnesota Wild (St. Paul, MN)

Position Summary The Minnesota Wild Hockey Lodge Stores operating out of the Xcel Energy Center is seeking a Retail Warehouse Associate to work under direction of the Retail Warehouse Manager. This part-time position is responsible for assisting in all warehouse operations for the Minnesota Wild Hockey Lodge stores and warehouse locations with various product lines for games and related events. This instrumental role helps maintain inventory control and partners closely with sales staff in this fast-paced, professional and semi-seasonal retail environment.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting in inventory management including all receivables, deliverables, transfers IN and OUT of the warehouse facilities along with physical distribution and accurate input of inventory into the inventory management system
  • Assist in the management of inventories for store locations to ensure proper day-to-day stock levels including heavy stock for certain events and holidays, and assist with product change outs
  • Help coordinate FEDEX and mail orders for shipping including mail orders, e-commerce orders and gift card oversights - fulfillment, shipping, follow-up tracking
  • Work with warehouse leads and manager to fulfill event location requests in a timely manner according to event schedules
  • Other activities including pulling/picking specific merchandise and hand delivery of said merchandise to various retail locations within the sales venue
  • Prepare orders and special requests accurately, produce product price labels, sort merchandise for tagging, shelve product in designated locations
  • Ability to report 2-2 ½ hours before event start time and work until sales end
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

  • High School diploma or GED required.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous warehouse/logistics/distribution environment experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and Technical Warehouse experience a plus

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks or duties simultaneously
